Our Founder
My name is Keith, and serving up soul food isn't just my job. It's my hobby, past-time and favorite obsession. For me, Southern comfort food speaks to my soul.
Our Mission
Once Famous Grill aims to connect our community with each other in the same way quality ingredients are connected to our food.
Keith Lewis grew up in Sacramento, California. As a young boy he had two dreams, one to play football in the NFL, and the other to own his own business. He was able to make both of those dreams come true. After having an accomplished and outstanding career for the Oregon Ducks from 2000-2003 he was drafted in the 2004 NFL draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He played in the NFL from 2004-2009, and retired after the 2009 season.
He loved his time in Eugene so much that he made his home here. He took some time as a family man and worked for a few different organizations locally. He then decided it was time to realize his second dream of owning his own business. Once Famous Grill was started in 2016 and has been serving customers their amazing food with a southern flair ever since.
